WOO!!!!
Well, Its been a while since I posted anything as you can see but the thing is I really have had nothing to say, the football has continued to be a loss every week.....until last night that is!!
We have played 7 and lost 7 in the Sunday league but we have entered a league on a Wednesday night now too where the top two teams at the end of the season play off for a £1000 prize!
So our first game (last night) was against AFC United, who narrowly beat us in the Sunday league 4-1. We really should have won that one so we had revenge last night!
Our team was severly depleted, No Mark (our goalkeeper, nickname Blunkett!), No Simon (Chopper!) and No Rich (Sky Captain!)
So we managed to secure the services of Brian, the landlord of the Crown and he inspired us to our best performance so far.
The team was as follows....
GK - Me
DEF - Pete
DEF - Gez
FOR - Jonah
FOR - Brian
And Col as substitute.
Every single won of us played brilliantly and that is why we got the result pictured below!!!
